Detect down stream clogs in condensate drains and interrupt the thermostat circuit to shut off the unit before flooding occurs. Designed for use in primary drain lines or primary pan auxiliary outlets to stop the unit before water reaches the air handler insulation and safety pan.

Can be installed vertically or horizontally, inline in primary drains, or plugged on auxiliary pan outlets. Can be installed sloped or plumb. Comes with 4 ft, 18AWG wires, plug, and 3/4" bushing.

Safe-T-Switch

The Safe-T-Switch model SS3 detects rising water in A/C condensate drain pans and interrupts the thermostat circuit to shut off the unit before overflows and flooding occur. The model SS3 is designed to install in auxiliary (safety) drain pans. The included stainless steel clip snaps easily in place on most pan rims and holds firmly. Compact footprint fits well in tight spaces.

Safe-T-Switch model SS3 incorporates sealed, waterproof reed/magnet float switch technology for long term, reliable performance with no exposed electrical contacts to corrode, short out, or fall off. Included 4 ft., 18 AWG lead wires require one electrical connection during installation.

Safe-T-Switch is UL listed and complies with most applicable building codes. Safe-T-Switch has been tested for 6000 cycles at 1.25 amps in its assembled form and listed for use in a 24 volt circuit by Underwriters Laboratories. IAPMO and City of Los Angeles approval are pending at this time.

24 VAC, 1.25 amp GP switching current (tested and listed by UL at 6000 cycles - inductive load). Reed component device is separately UL recognized at 2.5 amps maximum carry current.

Package includes stainless steel clip/bracket and 4 ft., 18 AWG lead wires.
